The Queen Mary is proud to present our featured magicians!

Siegfried Tieber

Siegfried Tieber is a Los Angeles based performer and sleight-of-hand magician. He was born and raised in Ecuador, where his passion for magic began. His first international appearance was in 2011 in Bogotá, Colombia as part of the show Bicéfalo. In 2012, he moved to Los Angeles and became a member of the world famous Magic Castle—an exclusive private club dedicated to advance the art of magic—where he is a regular performer.

In 2015, Siegfried headlined at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival—the largest arts festival in the world—where his performance was highly praised by critics and media outlets. Siegfried’s show also received a special distinction as “The Sickest of the Fringe” by The Sick of the Fringe project, a curated program of events aiming to inspire collaboration between science and the arts.

Today Siegfried spends time creating magic in his Los Angeles studio and working on new projects. Although he has appeared in a few film productions and collaborated with numerous artists and organizations, his heart is in performing close-up magic in front of live audiences—always with his sleeves rolled up.

Karl Koppertop

Karl Koppertop’s “Magic On The Mind” is an experience you don’t want to miss! This is your opportunity to spend time up close with a world renowned magician, feel a true sense of wonder and come away with stories of mystery, laughter and joy that you will tell for years to come.

While Karl Koppertop has performed in over 30 countries, made appearances on national television and taught thousands of professional magicians all over the world, his true passion is giving newcomers the unique experience of close-up magic.

When a miracle happens in your hands and you can't believe what you're seeing, it’s a feeling you won’t forget. When the mind of the person sitting next to you becomes an open book you will ask questions you’ve never asked before. When deeper mysteries are revealed within everyday objects like playing cards, Rubik’s Cubes and dollar bills you can't help but see the world a little differently.

“Magic On The Mind” is not a collection of off the shelf tricks bought at a magic shop that just any magician can perform.  Every show is a customized experience that requires thousands of hours of practice and thoughtful execution so that you become part of an audience on a exhilarating ride of comedy, magic and mentalism with a few other surprises along the way. What will happen when Magic is on Your Mind?

Joel Ward

Joel’s high energy, original magic has astonished people throughout the world. As he makes things appear and disappear, he presents award-winning magic by combining classical magic with a contemporary touch. Joel’s mind-boggling magical talent ranges from comical audience participation, to interactive close-up magic and flashy Las Vegas styled illusions.

At age 15, Joel became a World Champion Teen Magician after placing 1st at the International Brotherhood of Magicians annual competition, the World’s Largest Magic Organization. That same year Joel was picked out of hundreds of magicians to appear on television with Master Magician, Lance Burton. The show, “Lance Burton-Young Magicians Showcase,” was filmed at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Joel currently performs hundreds of shows a year. In 2007, Joel performed over 500 shows during a year contract at the Horizon Casino & Resort in South Lake Tahoe. In 2009 Joel performed on NBC’s “The Bonnie Hunt Show,” and was part of the series called, “Masters of Illusion,” on My Network TV. That same year Joel headlined the Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus show, “Boom A Ring,” which toured the East Coast and Puerto Rico. In January of 2011 Joel made his first appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and on Comedy Central’s Tosh.0.

Funny Eddie

Eddie is a proud former Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus Clown. ( not too many of them around.) He ran away from home and joined the circus, then he ran away from the circus and continues to entertain the crowd on his own.

Linsey Benner

Lindsay Benner is a virtuoso entertainer with a twinkle in her eye and a heart of gold. Lindsay has performed in the US, New Zealand, Norway, England, Canada, Ireland, Australia and Japan. She has become a favorite at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, being not only one of the few female artists to receive “Performer of the week”, but also one of the few non Magicians to make it on that list. Lindsay’s performances showcase her wide variety of skills, which range from acting to physical comedy to juggling. But her greatest skill of all is that rare ability to connect with her audience and bring them the joy and wonder of the present moment.

Kyle and Mistie Knight

Las Vegas based illusionists Kyle and Mistie Knight, have traveled the world sharing their own unique style of magic. Regular performers at casinos in Las Vegas, at the Magic Castle in Hollywood and on Disney & Celebrity Cruise Lines, the duo also recently completed an extended run at the House of Magic at Studio City Resort & Casino in Macau. On television Kyle & Mistie appeared on the hit show Penn & Teller: Fool Us, BBC’s Now You See It and they were also the grand-prize winners on SyFy’s Wizard Wars

A true power couple, Kyle is has won awards for his sleight of hand and stage illusions, while Mistie is a former Miss Las Vegas who brings personality and production to the show with her own magic and costume quick changes. Together Kyle & Mistie Knight present one-of-a-kind illusions and allow their audience to get up close and involved in ways they’ve never seen before.

Max Maven

Orson Welles wrote that Max Maven has “the most original mind in magic.” Fortuitously, he died before he could revise that opinion. The New York Times observed that Max’s “category-defying mind-reading show veers into conceptual art.” People magazine hailed his work as “a new form of participatory theater.” The Los Angeles Times stated that his “improvisational skill is enhanced by a charismatic animal magnetism.” No, we don’t know exactly what that’s supposed to mean, but apparently audiences in over three dozen countries agree, as Max Maven’s mysteries transcend linguistic and cultural boundaries: He’s performed on six of the seven continents (and, with all due respect, he feels he can live without Antarctica).

Derek Hughes

"Derek Hughes: The live performances of celebrated conjurer, “Stand Up Magician” Derek Hughes, have been lauded by audiences and critics alike, with the New York Times calling him “thoroughly entertaining.”  Hughes has performed his magic on MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, and the CW's Penn & Teller: Fool Us.  He's a consulting producer on TRUtv’s hit magic series, “The Carbonaro Effect” and was a finalist on season 10 of NBC's “America’s Got Talent”."

Christopher Hart

“The man with the movie star hand,” and “The most famous right hand in Hollywood” is just two of the quotes reviewers have used to describe the talents of master magician Christopher Hart. This came following his featured role as “Thing” the expressive disembodied hand in the film “The Addams Family,” and its sequel “Addams Family Values."

Not to be out done, Hart’s hand was also featured in the comedy horror film "Idle Hands." "It gave me an opportunity to show a darker side to my hand acting" chuckles Hart. Hart is the proud recipient, and two time honoree, of the Hollywood Magic Castle’s ‘Stage Magician of the Year’ award. It’s Christopher’s original approach to his magic that has garnered him so much attention.

Fueled with inspiration and hard work, Christopher purposely created his magic and set it to music. He soon found that it broke down all language barriers, and Hart found himself working all over the world. Japan, China, Germany, South America, Canada, and Denmark is just a ‘hand-full’ of the places Christopher has performed his magic.

David and Leeman

Award-winning comedy magician team David and Leeman have performed all over the world from Wolfsburg, Germany to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and other places that don’t have animals in their names. They have been guest on The Today Show The Late Late Show and were top 12 finalists on America’s Got Talent but their favorite show so far has been for (insert company) in (insert city).  David and Leeman also love pandering.
